EQV1-LP, A Linear Phase Equalizer with a difference! Let's
say it right away, this linear phase equalizer is unlike any other
EQ you've ever tried. Really! Previously Linear Phase meant that
you got what you expected, namely no phase distortion, but it also
meant that you were stuck with an EQ with a "dull" sound, because
these types of EQ's were not based on analogue simulation. We changed
that... The Sonic Timeworks EQV1-LP is a full leap forward in Linear
Phase equalization, it is the worlds first Linear Phase Equalizer
based on analogue simulation.
We based it on our popular EQV1 design, meaning it has high cut
and Low cut filters, Low Shelf and High Shelf filters, up to 6 bands
of Bell filters (all with completely sweepable filter points and
adjustable Q sizes). A 30 band spectrum analizer 'on board' , a
phase meter, extensive keyboard controls, along with an intuitive
'dual surface' graphical interface...
|
Zero-Phase when used with host application that supports our
latency compensation extension to DirectX..
Currently this is supported by Samplitude
7.1 and Sequoia
7.1.

To give you a taste of what this equalizer can do, we've made a few

We recorded and mixed a drum loop. Note how gentle the eq'ing has
been to the drums.
